X of Wands is returning to The Guitar Shop NYC on Saturday, November 10th 2018 to perform a solo set at the annual Brooklyn Bass Bash! X recently performed at this South Slope Brooklyn shop for the 3rd Annual International Bass Solo Competition where he met the shop owner and VP of La Bella Strings. Now an official La Bella Strings endorsed artist (!), X of Wands has been invited back for an impromptu 6:30 pm set.
Notably, Bakithi Kumalo, the bassist of Paul Simon (!!) famous for his fretless bass runs on the “Graceland” album (and in particular that solo bass riff on “You Can Call Me Al”), will also be doing a rare solo performance and bass clinic that day at 5:00 pm. PS – He’s also a La Bella Strings-endorsed artist, so there’s at least one talking point between us 🙂
La Bella Strings is proud to present the BROOKLYN BASS BASH taking place on Saturday, November 10th from 12PM to 8PM at The Guitar Shop NYC.
